Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers offers outpatient Behavioral Health Services to adults, adolescents and children. Our integrated approach to treatment addresses the needs of the whole person by considering all aspects of a patient’s physical and emotional health.Our office is located in Honesdale.

Our treatment team can help with bipolar disorder, depression, schizophrenia, personality disorders, anxiety, mental illness coupled with drug and alcohol addiction (dual diagnosis), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Autism spectrum, anger management, school difficulties, grief/death, eating disorders, phobias, divorce, smoking cessation, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, stress management, premenstrual dysphoric disorder and many other mental health issues.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program
Honesdale Behavioral Health Center offers a Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program for those suffering from substance use disorders. Our team consists of two psychiatrists, a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, a Psychiatric Nurse Case Manager, a Licensed Practical Nurse, a Registered Medical Assistant and several therapists who are Certified Advance Alcohol and Drug Counselors (CAADC). The program is a combination of both FDA-approved medications and counseling.
Three types of MAT are offered at the Behavioral Health Center:
Vivitrol: a monthly opioid blocker for patients free of opioids for at least five days. We can provide an outpatient detox protocol if needed.
Sublocade: Monthly Buprenorphine injection. Patients need at least seven days on oral Buprenorphine which is provided.
Probuphine: Six-month Buprenorphine implant for patients stabilized on 8mg or less of oral Buprenorphine.
Please note, our practice does not prescribe maintenance oral Buprenorphine.
