Pearl Harbor Remembrance

Hospital staff join local veterans as they recall one of the darkest days in U.S. History, the bombing of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii on December 7th, 1941. Ceremony includes readings about the attack, homage to those who served and those who lost their lives in the battle for freedom, a Pearl Harbor Memorial prayer and the playing of taps. 

A wreath will be placed at the hospital’s plaque outside the Emergency Department honoring 55 Wayne County soldiers who served in World War I, many of whom made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
