Wayne Memorial Satellite Offices to Close Wednesday, February 7

Wayne Memorial satellite offices for Lab and Radiology services and most physical, occupational and speech therapy offices will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, February 7th due to the impending snow and anticipated unsafe road conditions. These include clinics in Waymart, Hamlin, Forest City, Carbondale, Tafton, Lords Valley and both satellite offices in Honesdale at the Route 6 Mall and on Route 191 South.  Wayne Health Pharmacy and Medical Equipment at the Stourbridge Complex will also be closed.

 

Laboratory and Radiology services will be available at the hospital, which is open 24/7.

 

Some Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers’ physician offices will also shut down for the day, but others plan to stay open. The following family health centers will be closed: Northern Wayne, McAndrew, Pike, Honesdale and Gutherz Family Health. Specialty offices—women’s health, pulmonary, surgery, neurology, cardiology, Behavioral Health and both dental offices in Lords Valley and Honesdale will also be closed.

 

Open: Highland Physicians Family Health Center and the Hamlin Family Health Center will be open. Carbondale and Pinnacle Family Health may close; please call the offices.

 

Patients who have questions about whether their provider will be open tomorrow should phone ahead. The office of orthopedic surgeon Jeffrey Mogerman, MD, will be closed but orthopedic surgeon David Caucci, MD’s office may be open during the morning. Again, call ahead!

Wayne Memorial Hospital administration officials say staff at their outpatient clinics has been calling patients scheduled for appointments tomorrow to make new appointments.
