(Honesdale, PA. October 22, 2025)… It’s National Pharmacy Week, October 19-25, 2025, a time to recognize the powerful impact the pharmacy department has on our patients here at Wayne Memorial Hospital (WMH). The third full week of October is a time to shine a spotlight on the essential contributions hospital and health-system pharmacists make as part of the patient care team. Our pharmacists use their knowledge and expertise on the selection, administration, and management of safe and effective medications to improve patient outcomes.

“Our team in the pharmacy is top notch” says Pharmacy Manager Courtney Farrell, RPh. “Working together to provide the best patient care is the foundation of our success every day. Most of our patients in the hospital require something from the pharmacy, so we keep very busy,” she added. “I’m proud to be a part of this team.”
