Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Presents The Jersey Tenors

(Honesdale, July 18, 2023)… Imagine having Elton John, Frank Sinatra, Frankie Valli and Luciano Pavarotti singing to you from the same stage.  The Jersey Tenors are a four-man group of professional singers who can do it all, according to the Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and they’re performing close to home on September 17th.

“See them live at the Woodloch Pines Night Club, starting at 4:00pm,” says Diane Warden, Auxiliary concert committee member. “They really deliver a spectacular show with powerful, moving vocals and a great stage presence.  And they cover so many genres!”

The band bills itself as an “Opera/Rock Mash-Up Sensation,” and Warden says “they don’t disappoint.”  The Tenors blend iconic Opera classics like Figaro alongside songs by Rock ‘n’ Roll greats like Queen and Bon Jovi. The Jersey Tenors are also particularly proud of their New Jersey roots and highlight some of the Garden State’s finest, including Bruce Springsteen and The Four Seasons.

The Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is a volunteer group of 200-plus strong. In addition to tribute concerts and other fundraising events such as Designer Purse Bingo, they operate two thrift stores, The Other Shop in Honesdale and The Other Shop 2 in Hawley.  All proceeds benefit programs, facilities and physician recruitment for Wayne Memorial Hospital, a nonprofit community hospital based in Honesdale.

The show runs from 4:00pm – 6:00pm; doors open at 3:00pm with open seating. Tickets are $49 per person with a cash bar and “lite bites” inside the venue. For information/tickets, call Joan at (570) 226-9750. Tickets are also available in the hospital’s gift shop, The Gift Box.
