WMHA Donates Tables and Chairs to Hospital

Take a break, enjoy your lunch, or just sit and visit…the lobby and atrium at Wayne Memorial Hospital’s main entrance are now furnished with new tables and chairs, thanks to the Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary (WMHA). Six teak wood sets of tables and chairs were recently purchased from and assembled by Cass Morgan of BMC Office Furniture in Scranton. Cass has a long association with the hospital and donated $1000 back to WMHA. “Janice and I agreed immediately,” said WMHA President Karen Hermey about donating the tables and chairs. “Yes, so many employees come out to eat lunch in the atrium,” Janice Pettinato, WMHA Vice President added. They match benches previously placed in the atrium and provide additional seating with the benefit of tables for employees, patients and visitors alike. The sets in the lobby are just outside the Gift Box, the Auxiliary’s gift shop at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
