Honesdale Surgical Associates performs general surgical services including minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures such as:

Telephone Calls
All patients are encouraged to call with any questions they may have. Our team is here to assist you. Your question may be addressed by a member of our trained staff. If a provider’s help is required, our staff can relay your information to the provider, who will answer your call at the earliest opportunity.
Contacting Your Provider After Hours
If you find it necessary to contact the provider after normal office hours, the answering service will forward all messages to the clinician on call. A clinician is available on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergencies. All calls are returned at the earliest opportunity

As a board-certified general surgeon, Dr. Rodriguez-Aiello performs a broad range of procedures specializing in gallbladders, hernias, bowel surgery, robotic surgery and trauma.
Dr. Rodriguez-Aiello has been practicing surgery since 2007. She joined Wayne Memorial after working at the Inova Hospital System where she was the system quality officer for acute care surgery and an attending physician in trauma/surgical critical care/acute care surgery.
While Dr. Rodriguez-Aiello has worked in many settings, including a Level I Trauma Center outside Washington, D.C. for over 10 years, she has a passion for rural medicine and is committed to providing excellent care for underserved communities.

As a Surgical Nurse Practitioner, Chelsea is responsible for pre, intra and post-operative patient care. She
conducts inpatient rounding as well as performs various inpatient and outpatient procedures. She also
provides wound care evaluation and treatment at the Advance Wound Care Center at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Chelsea has a long-standing career with Wayne Memorial which includes inpatient RN in the areas of
ICU, Med/Surg and Telemetry as well as Perioperative Services where she worked for 10 years. Prior to
joining Honesdale Surgical and Neurology, in 2020, Chelsea held the position of Certified Registered
Nurse Practitioner at Lake Region Urgent Care, part of Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers.
Chelsea is proud to have been raised in northeastern Pennsylvania and for advancing her education
within the region to ultimately provide care in her hometown area.
