(Honesdale, December 8, 2011)…After more than four decades in medicine, George Tietjen, MD, FACS, Wayne Memorial Hospital’s Chief of Staff is retiring. Certified in both general and vascular surgery, Dr. Tietjen has performed thousands of successful surgeries at Wayne Memorial since he came on board in 1975.
