Veteran's Day Baby Recognized by American Legion. Little Camilo Bautista arrived in the world on November 11 at 11:56 am weighing 6 pounds, 7 ounces. In honor of veterans, Desiree Prell of the Post's Auxiliary said the basket included a savings bond for the Dingmans Ferry couple. Camilo’s mother Tiehearra Banks was thrilled, and dad Julio Bautista noted it was “a good starting point” for their son. Besides honoring a Veterans Day baby, Post 311 also actively helps veterans and families in need during the holiday season. Certified Nurse-Midwife Sheela Porter Smith of the Women’s Health Center, part of Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers, assisted Banks in the delivery.
