“As an acute care nurse practitioner I’ve been trained to care for patients with complex, critical and chronic health conditions,” expressed Tracy. “I’m excited to be a part of the surgical team in Honesdale.”

Tracy graduated magna cum laude from Drexel University with a master’s degree in nursing from the acute care nurse practitioner program. She was awarded the credential of acute care nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in August of 2012. Tracy received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix in 2005 and a diploma from the Geisinger Medical Center School of Nursing in 1994.

Tracy had been employed by Wayne Memorial Hospital since 2000. During her tenure she worked as a registered nurse in a variety of acute care settings including medical/surgical, telemetry and ICU. Additionally, she served as a staff nurse, nurse manager and nurse supervisor of the hospital’s emergency department.

She resides in Damascus with her husband, Mark, and their three children.

Honesdale Surgical, located in the Stourbridge Medical and Professional Complex, 600 Maple Avenue, Suite 1, Honesdale, is attended by general surgeons Brian Lenczewski, MD and Salvador Guerrero, DO, FACS.
