Connecting Community & HealthcareWayne Memorial Hospital's Together for Health School Program is a collaboration with Wayne Highlands, Wallenpaupack, Western Wayne, Forest City and other local school districts for 7th and 11th grade students each year. In addition to a live presentation about healthy lifestyles, students fill out Wellness profiles and may choose to have their blood drawn for cholesterol and lipid profiles. A third component of the program involves local agencies, law enforcement and healthcare providers who set up information tables and field questions from students about "real life."
