Rachel's Challenge Coming
Inspiring Others With Kindness... Rachel's Challenge is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious program designed to combat loneliness, bullying, and depression... a program that "works to build a chain reaction of kindness." It's the legacy of Rachel Joy Scott, the first student killed at Columbine HIgh School in Colorado in 1999. After her death, Rachel's parents discovered her journals and were inspired to spread her message of kindness. Students in Wayne Highlands, Western Wayne, Wallenpaupack Area and Forest City Regional School districts will hear Rachel's Challenge in their schools. Evening programs for the community will follow.
