Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Hands Out Holiday FlowersEach year, around Christmas and then again at Easter, the Auxiliary traditionally spreads a little cheer by distributing flowers or plants to patients at the hospital and Wayne Woodlands Manor, Wayne Memorial’s long-term care home in Waymart.. “This Auxiliary service project started around 1975,” said Carol Chalmers, who organized the plant distribution. “This Christmas, we are giving out more than 200 plants.” Pictured left to right: Auxiliary members Marie Floyd, Dottie Wilcox, Lois and Bill Garret of Honesdale.
