General Visiting Hours

2:00 to 4:30 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  (Please see General Hospital Policy below for more.)

Intensive Care Unit Visiting Hours

Visits are limited to two visitors at a time during odd-numbered hours from 11am to 9pm. Visits are limited to 15 minutes at a time. 

New Beginnings Birthing Suite Visiting Hours

3:00 p.m. - 4:00p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Family members in good health are welcome. 

* Significant others and labor coaches are free to visit any time.

Wound Care Hours

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

General Hospital Policy:

*A patient may have up to two (2) visitors at any given time.

*Children under age 12 may not visit, except by special arrangement with the Hospital staff. Children must be attended at all times by a responsbile adult visitor/family member.

* Individuals who have any type of illness that may be contagious to the patients, staff or other visitors are encouraged not to visit.

* The patient has the right to determine who he/she wishes to/not to visit, or from whom phone calls will/will not be received. The Hospital staff will advocate for the patient in these situations.

* When visitation interferes with the care of paients, visitors may be required to leave the patient care area.

Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Important Information About Cell Phone Usage

Cell phones have sometimes been found to interfere with medical equipment. To ensure the safety of hospital patients, the use of cell phones is prohibited in patient care areas at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Cell phones may be used in waiting areas as well as the cafeteria and vending areas of the hospital.
