The dinner-dance event took place at Ehrhardt’s on the Waterfront in Tafton on January 16. Close to 200 guests participated, many dancing for hours to a live performance by the band, Groove Train. The band was sponsored by the Wayne Memorial Hospital Medical Staff, and the many gifts up for purchase in the silent auction were donated by local businesses. “We can’t thank them all enough,” added Beck, “they really pitched in to help a good cause.” Committee members pictured left to right sitting: Shauna Ridd, Barbara Raetsch (Chairperson), Cathy Howell.
