(Honesdale, August 15, 2005)…Harleysville National Bank recently presented a check for $25,000 to Wayne Memorial Hospital’s capital campaign, Operation Vital Signs, bringing the total pledged so far to close to $1.7 million.  “We are delighted to become a partner in Wayne Memorial’s capital campaign,”said Fred Reim, Regional President of Harleysville National Bank. “This hospital is very important in the community, and our bank is very much a part of that community. We have been in the area for many years, albeit under different names, and many people on our staff have lived and worked here for a long time.”  Wayne Memorial Hospital’s Chief Executive Officer David Hoff gratefully acknowledged the Harleysville donation and noted that Operation Vital Signs is truly “a community effort for a community hospital.” The campaign, launched in February, has a goal to raise $3,000,000 in three years. Contributions will help fund the non-profit hospital’s new Emergency Room, currently under construction. Pictured l. to r. at the Honesdale construction site: G.
