Doctors Charles Aronica, Louis O’Boyle and Michael Peterson will see both new and current Wayne and Pike County patients at the same office on Route 507 in Tafton where they have been practicing more than 10 years. The three doctors, along with Physician Assistant Dawn Strong, have joined forces under the name Pinnacle Health Partners Inc. (PHP). As of August 1st, they are no longer associated with Highland Physicians.
“We’re very excited about Pinnacle and becoming an independent practice,” said Dr. O’Boyle. “Our patients can expect the same high quality care and professionalism we’ve always been committed to delivering. We’re in the same office and even our phone number will remain the same, but our ability to serve patients will improve.”
Pinnacle is offering expanded hours and an open schedule that will allow almost all their patients to be seen the day they call for an appointment, according to Dr. O’Boyle. “We’re proud to have a very patient-friendly office. That will mean easier communication with staff, crisper organization, and better access to care as a whole.”
All three physicians will remain on the staff of Wayne Memorial Hospital (WMH). “We’re very glad that Doctors Aronica, O’Boyle, & Peterson are staying in the area and continuing to serve the Wayne and Pike communities,” said David Hoff, Chief Executive Officer of WMH. Mr. Hoff also noted that Dr. O’Boyle’s wife, neurologist Dr. Julianne O’Boyle has joined the WMH staff as an employee. She is currently on maternity leave but will be opening her neurology practice on Monday,
