(Honesdale, August 8, 2005)… Pediatrician Nancy Grauso-Eby, D.O. has joined Pediatric Practices of Northeastern Pennsylvania, a physicians’ practice group based in Honesdale. Dr. Grauso-Eby, who also has a Masters degree in Nutrition, brings to six the number of pediatricians currently practicing with Pediatric Practices.
Dr. Grauso-Eby says she’s “looking forward to seeing children in Wayne and Pike Counties,” and she’s very interested in “addressing the issue of childhood obesity and working with the community to promote healthy life choices.” Currently a resident of Pike County, Dr. Grauso-Eby was a registered dietitian before she went to medical school.
Grauso-Eby received her Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Stratford, New Jersey. She completed her internship and residency in Pediatrics at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Her Masters in Nutrition was attained at Boston University and her bachelor’s degree at Rutgers University.
