(Honesdale, December 23, 2005)…Wayne Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce that Robert J. Gorrell, Jr., M.D., F.A.C.S., officially joins the Wayne Memorial Hospital Medical Staff on January 1, 2006.  A board-certified general surgeon with more than 20 years experience, Dr. Gorrell specializes in vascular and thoracic surgery. As a resident of Milford (Pike County), associated most recently with Bon Secours Hospital in Port Jervis (New York), Dr. Gorrell is no stranger to the area.

           “I’m very impressed that Wayne Memorial Hospital continues to grow and invest in the community,” says Dr. Gorrell, “and I’m looking forward to putting my many years of experience to work for the benefit of both Wayne Memorial and its patients.”
