On his way to a career in nursing, Jan Marthy Ang of Honesdale welcomed a financial boost from the Ernest and Margaret Lemnitzer Fund and the Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Ang received a scholarship check for $4098. The Honesdale High School senior plans to attend Pennsylvania State University this fall. “Ultimately, I’d like to become a nurse anesthestist,” said Ang, who thanked the Auxiliary and the Lemnitzer fund trustees for the scholarship that will help him achieve his goal. The Lemnitzer Fund, established in 1982, is administered by Honesdale National Bank and is specifically for a Honesdale area student.
