Saying “we can do this!,” Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary President Cathy Howell announced on April 22nd that the Auxiliary was upping its commitment to the Hospital’s capital campaign, Operation Vital Signs. The 200-plus member organization increased its pledge from $210,000 to $300,000. With the hike, the Auxiliary will claim a special naming opportunity. A private diagnostic imaging suite just for women will open at Wayne Memorial this summer. It will now be named “The Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Women’s Diagnostic Imaging Center.” David Hoff, the Hospital’s Chief Executive Officer, called the Auxiliary “hard working, dynamic and committed to healthcare for all.” The announcement was made at a volunteer recognition luncheon at Ehrhardt’s on the Waterfront, honoring all WMH volunteers.
