(HONESDALE PA, June 20, 2007)—Sunshine and a handshake clinch the relationship between two local institutions for the betterment of the community at large—PPL Utilities and the non-profit Wayne Memorial Hospital. For the second year in a row, PPL donated $6,000 to Wayne Memorial’s capital campaign, Operation Vital Signs. PPL’s Paul Canaveri, Regional Community Relations Director (left) said the company is committed to helping communities grow and stay healthy. David Hoff, Wayne Memorial’s Chief Executive Officer (right) thanked Canaveri and PPL for its generous contribution. Operation Vital Signs, launched in 2005, has almost reached its $3 million campaign goal.
