(Honesdale and Lords Valley, July 25, 2007)… “I used to vacation here a lot—at Woodloch Pines—and I have family here. It was a natural fit,” says John Weisenreider, MD, who is now officially seeing patients at the Pike County Medical Center (PCMC) in Lords Valley.
Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Weisenreider was born in Brooklyn but worked for about 25 years in Warren, New Jersey. After medical school, he completed his residency at Muhlenburg Regional Medical Center in New Jersey.
“I like the Poconos,” Dr. Weisenreider continues, “and I’m really looking forward to living and working here fulltime.”
