(HONESDALE, PA, May 29, 2008)— Seven books, seven amazing stories. That’s how David Hoff, Wayne Memorial Hospital’s Chief Executive Officer, described books written and illustrated by students from Julie Pierson’s 6th grade English class at Wallenpaupack Area Middle School. The students donated the books to the Hospital’s Pediatric Department. “I wouldn’t be surprised if some of you become published authors or maybe artists. You wrote great stories and the Hospital really appreciates your donation,” said Hoff. “All the children who are patients here will enjoy them.” The youngsters read their stories to Mr. Hoff before presenting him with the books.
