Honesdale, July 29, 2008)… A Honesdale dental center that until now treated only children will begin treating adults also, regardless of financial status, beginning in September. Brian Brown, DMD, a Northeast Pennsylvania native, joined the Together for Health Dental Center this summer to help expand services to adults.
“I’m really looking forward to working with the Together for Health Staff,” said Dr. Brown. “The Center provides a much-needed service in the community to young people right now, and we already have a waiting list for adults for the fall.”
Dr. Brown, a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Carbondale, completed college at Marywood University and dental school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.
The Together for Health (TFH) Dental Center is part of Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC), a federally qualified health center funded in part by a grant from the U.S. Department of Health Resources and Services Administration. WMCHC accepts most private insurances and public assistance and offers a sliding fee scale to the un-insured and under-insured.
