Lakewood Family Health Center specializes in family medicine, providing healthcare to people of all ages-children to older adults. The Center serves as a draw site for Wayne Memorial’s Laboratory Services.

Robert P. Dohner, D.O., cares for the whole person and the whole family. As a family physician, he has received special training in providing primary healthcare to people of all ages. His osteopathic training and love of rural living provide added dimensions to his medical practice. Dr. Dohner actively uses osteopathic manipulation in his holistic approach to healthcare. Dr. Dohner takes a special interest in education, sports medicine and the special needs of children.

Dr. Dohner attended medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine at Biddeford, Maine. He went on to his internship and residency in Family Practice at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. In his third year, he was elected Chief Resident. He also served on the Pediatric Teaching Service Committee and the Pharmacy Committee for the Medical Center.

The Lakewood Family Health Center is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Special evening hours are available on wednesday's from 5:00 p.m to 7:30 p.m. Emergency coverage is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To schedule appointments please call (570) 798-2828.
