Just west of Wayne Memorial Hospital, the Honesdale Family Health Center (HFHC) is open Monday through Thursday 8:30 am - 5pm and Saturday 8:30 am - 12 noon with walk-in patients accepted.
Staffed by Dr. Robert Dohner, Dr. Bradley Layton and Melissa Rickard, Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Part of Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers, the HFHC is a federally qualified health center that accepts most private insurances and medical assistance. Sliding fee scale also available. Another physician, Dr. Lawrence Stepczak is slated to join HFHC in July 2008.
