Clinical Instructor - School of Nursing

Description:
Per diem: Day/Even. Under the auspices of Luzerne County Community College Department of Nursing the Clinical Instructor will provide clinical instruction in patient care areas and laboratory setting to prepare nursing students for their role as an RN.

Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current licensure as a RN in the state of PA; MSN or Master’s in Nursing Education (or significant work towards degree) required; Minimum of 5 years recent clinical experience required; Critical Care background preferred; Previous clinical instruction/background in clinical nursing education preferred; Supervisory experience desirable; Excellent written/oral communication skills; Excellent computer skills and electronic documentation ability; Must be able to work competently with excellent clinical skills on multiple patient care units; Demonstrated high regard for patient safety initiatives; BLS Instructorship required within 6 months of hire.
